Vermont Residence by Ohashi Design Studio

An addition to an old farmhouse located on 47 wooded acres in Vermont, this new structure more than doubled the size of the existing house. The original character was maintained throughout the design, blending the old with the new.
Called the “carriage house” by the owners, the addition houses a 3 car garage and a home office, with a spacious playroom and nanny’s quarters above. A new breezeway allowed for easy access from one side to the other, while creating a visual break in the design.
