The front yard of a home sited off an unique shared street in the East Bay was transformed with elegant Ipe fencing and new sandblasted glass gate and carport walls – the street facing fence has two layers of horizontal fencing inside and outside to give a sense of lightness and depth without sacrificing visual privacy.
Once inside the gate you are in a tranquil garden focused on a sprawling Oak tree with slate and Ipe paving and sandblasted glass fences that provide light and transparency – the glass doors into the house lead directly to the dining area.
Three stories up in height, magnificent views of the surrounding city are captured in a relaxed outdoor living environment.
In the front garden, the wood and glass walls edit the views to preserve the best of the surroundings and planters provide opportunities for landscaping.
